Frequently Asked Questions

Do you Travel?

Traveling is one of the most exciting parts about photography for me. I'm absolutely happy to travel. Depending on the location, mileage and accommodations will be required.

How long have you been doing this?

I have over 7 years of experience shooting weddings and engagements and over 10 years experience with photography.

How do we get our photos?

Family portraits and engagement sessions will be provided in an online gallery format. Depending on the Wedding package, photos will either be provided in an online gallery or on a physical USB.

Do you retouch photos?

Retouching photos is something I choose to do sparingly. I believe everyone is beautiful and should accept the qualities that make them unique. My rule of thumb is if it doesn't stay on you more than a couple weeks, I'll retouch it, no questions. We can talk about it.

What’s your turn around time?

Turn around time is currently 2-3 weeks, but I will provide a sneak peek within the following 2 days of your event date.

How do we book you?

Head on up to that contact page and send me a message with your details! Once we meet and agree that we'd like to work with each other, we'll go over the contract and solidify the date.

Can you help us with planning?

While I'm happy to make suggestions on your timeline and how to leave time around photos, I highly recommend a wedding planner! If you’re looking, I’m happy to suggest some.

How far out do you book?

Bookings two years in advance is the maximum preferred as things can always change further out.

What should we do for an engagement session?

I love to prescout locations that will provide you with the best possible images. If you have any suggestions on locations that are special to you, we can talk through them and work it out!

What should we wear?

I like to leave this up to the clients, but for beach family portraits and engagements, I’d suggest soft neutrals and light colours (white, tan, blue, pink). Overly saturated colours can be distracting.
