The pirate festival

On fathers day we went to the pirate festival. I got some really fun shots, but this little guy totally stole my heart!!

3 gorgeous girls...

Who all happen to either be my sisters or I have known her since she was 6! :) I did a little photo shoot with Casey Christina and Anna, and had a blast! The kids had fun too, whoever I was shooting, the other two played in the park with them!!

A day at the park

Since I have been so sick for the past 6 months I rarely have energy to go do "normal" things with my kids, like take them to the park. I just don't have the energy. So on Sunday when dh suggested we ALL go to the park, I jumped at the chance, because I was able to just take pictures and rest if I needed to, and he got the job of running after the kids and making sure they didn't catapult themselves off the top of the slide and whatnot. It was so fun, I really miss taking them to the park! Next up I think we will go to the zoo, we haven't been in so long!!

He adores her...

And I hope it stays that way forever. :) I know it won't, but he loves her SO MUCH and wants to be just like her!! She did this in the tube first, so of course he had to do the same thing!!





I love that they both even have the blank "picture face" on!!

My sweet man...

It seems like I talk like Crystal a LOT on this blog, so I thought I would showcase my sweet little boy today!

He is such a sweet little man. His latest favorite thing is "squeeze hugs" where he grabs you and squeezes as hard as he can while saying SQUEEEEEEEZE!!!

He is also amazing at guilt trips. Whenever i have a shoot to go to or a wedding to assist at, I tell him I have to go to work. Then he gets the quivery little lip and big blue eyes and says "but mommy I MISS you!!"

he is still so small, yet insists that he is a BIG BOY. No calling him baby boy anymore, he gets MAD!!

I love being a mom more than anything ever.

This sweet little man was 7 weeks old when Chris and I did a photo shoot with him, his mom and dad! Here are 2 of my absolute favorite images from the session! (you can tell he was looking at his mama in the second photo!)

She doesn't get it from me!

Crystal graduated preschool last week, she is officially going to be in kindergarten in August! The preschool had a sweet little graduation ceremony, which Crystal was so excited about, until she found out that she had to go on stage and sing!

She has always had problems with singing in groups, she just doesn't like it. She gets very upset and cries. But when you add being on STAGE to it, it just went downhill!! I am glad I got the center photo, that she was smiling before she realized the trauma about to ensue!

The funny thing is, her mom is a total ham, and drama queen! I was in so many community theater shows growing up, and loved being the center of attention! She must get it from her dad. :)
